i was confused.
it was so obvious
that i cheated.
but you didn't notice it.

how we used to climb trees
climb high and hold on tight.
so tight that our fingers were blue
for nearly two hours.

how we ran
from shores to sea.
ran deep in water
till we got tired.
and then gravitation got us
and we fell down.

now it's different
because we've changed.
you're still mailing me
and we're staying in contact.
but it's not the same.

we have moved on
and you have pressed the button 'on'.
but i think mine is off
because i miss you.
